How serious is iFi about its SupaQuasar power cable? The audio company refers to it as an “endgame” cable. Moreoever, SupaQuasar’s non-twisted central ground wire is surrounded by the live and the neutral conductors as a geometrically balanced pair double helix. Such architecture protects the ground wire from any magnetic field. Another benefit: No induction voltage is created in the ground wire — leading to drastically reduced system noise. 

With SupaQuasar, each individual power line has concurrent shielding, thereby minimizing internal and external RFI noise. Thanks to the fully symmetric and balanced geometric design, constant impedance occurs regardless of whether the cable is bent or angled. SupaQuasar comes insulated using a polymer matrix comprised of a moisture-resistant thermoplastic. Continuing the true balanced theme, SupaQuasar uses air-dielectric delineation to offer the best separation possible between the two balanced pairs of live and neutral conductors.

Constructed from heavyweight, pure continuous cast copper for excellent conductivity, Quasar touts gold-plated plugs and comes housed in impact-resistant polymer casing for increased durability.
