Load Impedance and Capacity Selectors on the Rear Panel, Step-Up Transformer
On E-250, the rear panel is equipped with a load impedance selector (34/47/56/100 kΩ) and a load capacity selector (0/100/220/320 pF) to match the characteristics of the cartridge and exploiting it to its full potential. E-250 also features a step-up transformer with a two-stage gain selection function in which a L/R independent super permalloy core is used to support even low-impedance MC cartridges.
