Made with removable back and top panels that provide access to a 4.4 x 16.1 x 13.4-inch (HWD) storage compartment where unattractive components can be placed, LB200 features a built-in IR receiver that allows you to control and operate any device inside via remote control. In most cases, RF and Wi-Fi commands pass through LB200 without significant signal loss.

Of course, we are ignoring the obvious: The front of LB200, which leaves no doubt that this piece is McIntosh through and through. This black unit proudly displays an illuminated McIntosh logo and “Handcrafted In The USA Since 1949” statement as a badge of honor. LB200 also claims the timeless McIntosh aesthetic: an illuminated black glass front panel and aluminum endcaps.

Measuring 6 x 16.1 x 15.375 inches (HWD) and weighing 14 pounds, LB200 fits into standard audio/video racks, on furniture, or stacked on top of other McIntosh gear. The top, bottom, and sides of LB200 come with an abundance of ventilation slots to allow for heat dissipation. Small holes on the back help with cable management fasteners. A Power Control input and output on the back also invite you to turn LB200 on and off with your other McIntosh components; a power switch on the back panel can be used instead of Power Control.
