Picture Disc Vinyl LP Version
2010’s Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys served as the first studio album from My Chemical Romance since their 2006 masterpiece The Black Parade and last to date. Helmed by Rob Cavallo, who also produced The Black Parade, the platinum-certified swan song is yet another bold conceptual effort but finds the band more in power pop and glam territory and actually having fun. USA Today called Danger Days “a polychromatic explosion of rabid riffology,” noting that “My Chemical Romance is now hooked on sonics: loud, raw, aggressive, and seething,” while Alternative Press raved that the album boasts “some of the strongest and catchiest songs of the band’s career.” Rolling Stone called Danger Days “a love letter to all the juvie-hall grads and Ritalin rats still waiting for someone to build a bomb big enough to blow all the pop bands off the airwaves.”
