Description
Replacing the stylus on a 2M series Ortofon cartridge is simplicity itself. Gently slide the black plastic part of the cartridge forward (it’s a press fit) until it slides off. Then, reverse the process with the new stylus. Once fully seated, your new 2M stylus is ready for action, no further adjustments are required.
The 2M Black is graced with a Shibata diamond stylus, the same diamond as on the acclaimed MC Jubilee. For questions about which other 2M styli can be used on a 2M Black body, please download the Ortofon 2M Stylus Compatibility document in the downloads sections.
