Enhancing nearly every aspect of its Product of the Year award-winning predecessor, HT/1508, this 99.7-pound sub leverages a 1,000-watt linear power supply amplifier and brand-new 15-inch CarbonGlas driver with astounding power-handling ability to provide blockbuster dynamics, harmonic shading, and unshakable low-end foundations on any content it’s asked to handle. Four 400-watt MOSFETs further ensure HT/1508 Predator II has nearly unlimited current reserves for  processing rapid energy spikes and unraveling complex musical passages with ease. 

Indeed, the closed-box HT/1508 Predator II  delivers the highest .1/LFE output of any subwoofer REL has ever produced. Specialized HT versions of the company’s award-winning PerfectFilter help deliver flat, even bass down to 20Hz. On the exterior, the 18 x 21.3 x 19.4-inch (HWD) unit features an elegant new design executed in horizontally line-grained black with a subtle sheen that evokes the look of high-end amplifiers. The presence of full-depth support rails means HT/1510 Predator II can be stacked in Line Arrays to achieve  the ultimate performance. And on the inside, a trademarked BrilliantBrace quiets and redirects energy normally trapped in the driver — and damps the top, bottom, and sidewalls of the cabinet. 

Compatible with REL’s HT-Air wireless system and built with low-level stereo RCA, LFE RCA, and LFE XLR inputs and outputs, the British-made HT/1510 Predator II is one mean (in a good way) sub. As Ice Cube once rapped: “Here comes the Predator.” 

Stand and Deliver

HT/1510 Predator subwoofers are designed to be stacked up to three units high using included REL couplers to connect lower units to upper units. These solid, milled aluminum couplers bolt securely to each sub. Along with the substantial rails on the underside of each cabinet, this creates a heavy, sturdy tower. When used in stereo stacks (six total, three per side), this represents over 8,000 watts of peak power forcing six 15-inch drivers to give their utmost. This setup can work sonic wonders in a wide variety of systems.

To ensure that this subwoofer would offer optimal performance via technological advancements, REL developed specialized HT versions of the acclaimed PerfectFilter to deliver flatter deep bass, now down to 20 Hz. As icing on the cake, HT/1510 delivers the highest .1/LFE output of any REL ever.
