2006’s Costello Music is the Tony Hoffer (Beck, Supergrass, Turin Brakes, Air) produced debut album by Glasglow, Scotland rock act The Fratellis. Heavily influenced by early-90s Britpop, the album charted at No. 2 on the UK Album Chart with over one million in sales and produced five singles including “Henrietta,” “Chelsea Dagger,” “Whistle For The Choir,” “Flathead,” “Baby Fratelli” and “Ole Black ‘n’ Blue Eyes.” Breakthrough hit “Chelsea Dagger” broke into the U.K. Top 5 and famously serves as the Chicago Blackhawks goal song at their home games and is played at many other sporting events around the world. Costello Music received much critical acclaim culminating in the Fratellis being awarded the Best British Breakthrough Act at the 2007 BRIT Awards. 180g vinyl reissue.
